KREM sister station CW22 will air Spokane Shock home games

Spokane, WA — Today the Spokane Shock and KSKN CW22 Television announced an agreement that makes KSKN CW22 the broadcast home of Spokane Shock football for the 2020 season. KSKN will televise all seven home games, starting with the opener vs. San Diego on March 26th.

KSKN is the CW network television station serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho. In addition to broadcasting over-the-air, KSKN can be found on channel 22 on DISH Network and Direct TV. KSKN is also distributed on most cable systems in the area, including Comcast in Spokane and Spectrum in North Idaho.

KSKN is the sister station to KREM 2, airing KREM 2 newscasts at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. “We are thrilled to have Shock football back in Spokane, and on KSKN for our viewers,” said KREM/KSKN President and General Manager RJ Merritt.

After a two-year hiatus, the reborn Spokane Shock return to Spokane and the IFL, Indoor Football League, for the 2020 season with unmatched anticipation from fans and viewers. Former Seattle Seahawks all-pro defensive tackle and new Spokane Shock majority owner and CEO Sam Adams said, “We are very excited to partner with KSKN CW22 to bring electrifying football back for our fans. They offer strong television broadcast distribution across the region and a brand that aligns perfectly with our goals as a team.”

In addition to airing the Spokane Shock football games, KSKN CW22 will produce and televise two half- hour Shock specials during the 2020 season.
