The Georgia native played his first season with Merced Community College in 2015 before transferring to Tennessee State University. In the 2016 season, Allen played in 10 games, at right guard, starting in 5. He helped the offense generate 415.1 yards per game and topped the Ohio Valley Conference at 6.6 yards per play. The line allowed an OVC low, 14 sacks.
In his 2017 senior season, Allen, started and played in the first 10 games of the season (the first 4 at center and the next 6 he played at right guard) and unfortunately missed his final game due to an injury.
Allen was signed by the Memphis Express in 2019 where he played 4 games before the Alliance of American Football ceased operations.
