Shock Sign Former NFL Defensive Tackle Chris Okoye

The Spokane Shock today announced the signing of Christopher Okoye who formerly signed with the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals after his college career at Ferris State University. The 6’6” 320-pound defensive lineman was an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First team pick and was named to the Football Gazette All-American Team.
In his senior year at FSU he led the Bulldogs to their fourth consecutive NCAA Division II play-off appearance and was invited to compete in the College Gridiron Showcase All-Star event. He also was chosen to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for his work both on the field and in the classroom.
