Born and raised in Spokane Washington, Brady Nelson is the Original Owner/CEO of the Spokane Shock from 2005 – 2014. In January 2014 it was announced Brady and his partners sold the AFL franchise.
Under Brady’s tenure, the Shock went 116-36 including 7 Division titles and 3 Championships. In 2005, at age 27, Brady was the youngest owner of a Pro Football Franchise in the United States.
Brady was twice named AFL “Executive of the Year” and in 2010 was honored to have received the “Key to the City” of Spokane after the Spokane Shock won Arena Bowl 23 in the Spokane Arena.
In addition to the Shock, Brady owns and operates a Solar Panel installation business called LuminaSun Smart Home which sells and installs clean and renewable energy systems for residential and commercial use.
He and his wife Danna have 5 children ages 6 – 16.
